Opened in the year 1989 Tomar Foods Vegetable Oil Company (TFVOC) has established itself as a top class manufacturer and distributor of high quality edible oil products in the region. Our manufacturing facility is built to the highest European standards with a refining and filling capacity of 2000 metric tons per day. The strategic location in asia and europe enables us to be responsive to the multiple demands of our clients across the entire region with products that conform to the highest international quality parameters.
Our plant with several independent filling is capable of simultaneously handling different packaging and oil types at the same time including Sunflower Oil, Corn Oil, Palm Oil,Palm Oilen,Soya Bean Oil,Rapeseed Oil,Canola Oil,Jatropha oil,Biodiesel and Olive Oil.

HISTORY
The construction of the plant started in 1989 and it went into production in mid 1990, although full commercial production started in December 1990. The capacity of the plant is around 60,000 MT p.a. with its storage tank farm having a nominal capacity of 20,000 MT.The plant is capable of both the physical as well as chemical refining of vegetable oils (Corn Oil, Sunflower Oil, Vegetable Oil (Palm Olein), Vegetable Ghee (Palm Oil), DF Oil, Blended Oil).
TFVOC plant in the asia and europe has the "winterizing" process capability. This process is a cost saving method when refining crude oils instead of purchasing fully refined and winterized soft oils.
The plant utilizes the latest available edible oil processing technologies obtained from Europe and is capable of a range of refining and packing options to suit its customer's international specifications. With minor modifications it can also be used to produce specialty oleo-chemicals well. The factory process is fully automated and the central computer control allows the operator to check and regulate each phase of the refining process. By carefully controlling the variables in this way we are able to maintain a perfect refining environment that ensures that all products leaving the factory are always of the same excellent quality. TFVOC is working with a 165 employees Our plant has several independent filling lines that allow us to pack up to four different pack types and four different oil types at the same time .The automatic filling lines are designed to handle various packaging requirements ranging from 1 liter plastic tin containers to 210 liter steel drums.

And as a result of the high standards, which are attained at TFVOC, we have gained several major contracts to pack a number of leading brands for a number of significantly important large companies located in the GCC countries in addition to a number of other nearby countries in the Europe and Middle East.
